SV.LEAGUE Smashes Attendance Records: Historic 28,110 Fans Pack IG Arena in a Record-Breaking Weekend
Tokyo, 19 January 2026 – Japan’s premier volleyball league, DAIDO LIFE SV.LEAGUE MEN, delivered a landmark moment on 17–18 January 2026, as the highly anticipated matchup between WOLFDOGS NAGOYA and SUNTORY SUNBIRDS OSAKA at IG Arena in Nagoya rewrote the league’s attendance records.
Saturday’s Game 1 set the tone for a historic weekend, drawing an unprecedented 14,037 spectators, the highest single-game attendance ever recorded in the league at that time. The momentum carried into Sunday, when Game 2 surpassed even that mark. With 14,073 fans in attendance, DAIDO LIFE SV.LEAGUE once again raised the bar, establishing a new benchmark for the largest crowd at a single regular-season match.
Across the two days, a total of 28,110 spectators gathered at IG Arena, transforming Week 11 of the 2025–26 season into a milestone moment for the league.
